PaperArtsy 2013 Christmas Cracker Challenge

Hello crafters and welcome.
The day before yesterday we had first snow but it was just little time in my area.
Now is the New Year holiday in Japan December 28th  to January 4th (most of people). We are preparing for the New Year meal. Little busy, but I found time to craft.
This week Leandra had showed background technique with wonderful video. Is here.
I inspired by her and followed the technique.
I  stenciled circle9-9x12 by Grunge Paste on smoothy-heavy-tags and made the background.
I used Fresco Finish Lake Wanaka, Mermaid, South Pacific, Space
Cadet and Haystack but can't see clearly in my photo.
Die cut TH die and stamped LPC006 then I made layer.
This is the finished "Fly me to the moon"Tag. :))

Winter Tag2

Hello crafters and welcome.
I mede Winter Tag No.2.
This time I want to try TH's "Wrinkle-Free, Blending".Video is here.
I used PaperArtsy Fresco Finish paints. Stamp is LPC006.
Also I used Utee, Treasur Gold, TH dies.

Anyway I need a Stampendous Embossing Powders.

PaperArtsy Challenge Liz Borer #3 Ploject

Merry Christmas Crafters and welcome,
Christmas decoration has been over and you will wait for the 25th.
I heard Christmas song from every where, it's lyrics is very fun, is it true?
This time I made #8 Tag.
I was inspired by Lis Borer's beautiful book, I followed #3 project background.
 Blog is here.
She made a stunning Decorated Book.
I wanted to use PaperArtsy FF new pink colors 4 sisters :0)

I taped 4 colours onto #tag with a wet wipe, and I stamped PA ELB04, Mini 62

and a floral stamp, made background.

Also I stamped Lynne Perrella collection LPC004, LPC006 onto Smoothy

Heavy Tags by Archival Potting Soil. Them cut and I had glued onto the tag.

I  followed the embellishment Idea by Leandra at the blog,Christmas (lurve) 

Hearts here. Die cut used Tim Holtz's die and I used Utee, embossing powders,

Treasure Gold Rose Quartz.

Winter Tag

Merry Christmas Crafters. Welcome to my site.
I made winter tag few days ago. I used #8 Tag, stamped by PA collection.
I haven't any Christmas Stamps, then I made Winter mood tag.
I have become today while I'm looking for a  Christmas stamps.
Although I had decided two but I don't need another items in the net shop.
Frantage Embossing is sold by another shop!!
Net shopping is difficult, I missed 2013 Christmas stamps.

PaperArtsy Challenge Joanne Wardle Project #2

Hello Crafters and welcome to my blog site.
I can't believe this year almost will finish, but you will have big event Christmas.
In Japan we will celebrate the New Year than Christmas, except they have
young children. Joanne Wardle showed us three project, I inspired project #2 bagelope.
"here"  That is so cute and good idea, I will use this idea for ''Otoshidama,
 means New years money present " money bag. But it was finished in a little scary feeling lol.
I cut  2  2/4  x  3  2/4 PA smoothy heavy card stock.
Painted FF Claret and stamped wings-plate-3 by Archival jet black.
Then I used Petroleum Jelly onto background and I painted over FF snowflake.
Wiped off loose snowflake with a paper towel .I stamped the same fairy stamp with another paper. Cut the wings,  put on the same background place.
Then I stamped Mini 61 on the background and craft mini bag.
To finish I used Treasure Gold rose quartz and white fire.
This Scratch technique from "Collage discovery workshop"book.

Challenge of Alison Bomber Project #3 Bothersome Baubles ....

It was cute paper baubles. She tried technique and effect over again.

Oh! December 3rd. Everybody busy for making Christmas card now!
Almost I will busy for New Years card, It's Japanese tradition.
But I made early spring tag today. I used #8Tag from PaperArtsy.
I made the background Alison's tutorial with the intention of review.
And put on the TH Butterfly die cut and young girl.
I used Treasure Gold and Stickies at the end.
Quick finished and It was fun!!

PaperArtsy Challenge Jo Myhill #1 No2

Hello again Crafters.
Here is cold outside and near the mountain is white with snow.
Jo Myhill and Darcy Wilkinson have showed us great project over at
PaperArtsy Blog this week.Jo's and Darcy's
I was inspired to work on the Jo Myhill project #1.
She caught a moment of small things and she created it.(I think.)
She used Grunge Paste with effect and made crackle.
I tried GP and crackle.
I found withered weeds on the street, It was appeared from between the concrete
cracked. I took few weeds and added my panel.
I have only 15 x 15 cm wooden frame, this timeI need more bigger size.
Then I made it.

I put GP on the background, and stamped Mini20 on the GP.
I made ​​a crack on the Snowflake and Elephant to the base Baltic Blue.
This time was nice.

I used for layer corrugated board, Medium Oak Leaf die cut and weed with ribbon.
Frame I painted by French Roast and Snowflake onto it.
Then sanded 2 times after I stamped Mini26 with Potting Soil Archival Ink.
Panel and frame distressed by TH Walnut Stain ink.
I finished with Treasure Gold.

PaperArtsy Challenge Jo Myhill #1

Hello Crafters and welcome.
It was rain and thunder a little while ago. Here is getting colder day by day.
Jo's shabby style fascinated me and I tried but difficult.
Still I can't understand, how much background paint or when end of paint.
Then I follow same way her project #1 Christmas Decor and her blog Still obsessed with hearts.
I mixed Grunge Paste and Utee, it made rough paste.
I painted rough paste onto middle of  Hanging chunky board-large.
Center of layer I used white corrugated card.
And covered with Treasure Gold-classic without corrugated card.
and painted FF Claret. Then I made Crackle with FF Nougat and Snowflake.
But little failed the crackle too big.
I die cut tall heart, painted same as background and crackled. Sanded toll heart
and stamped Mini 61 and Mini 96(embossing powder in it).
After I stamped Mini 61 and Mini 72 in background board, distressed all parts
by Vintage Photo. This is it.

PaperArtsy Chllenge Liz Borer Project #3 Three Panel Design

Hello again and welcome.
I inspired Liz Borer's colours chart and I challenged her colours work.
Leandra said  "This is such a fantastic resource, and such a useful one too on a daily basis!!! And there was me just wanting to make paint colours that I liked, and suddenly you have opened the door in such a clear, logical manner to show us how to easily generate a wealth of other colours."  I really think so!!  I just say to her Big Big Thank you!!
I made background by Fresco Finish 4 colours.
Simply I made purple gradation by Blood Orange + Inky Pool.
I tried make marble background several times but did not  work.

4 x 4 canvas

Hello Crafters and welcome.

Now christmas season, outside is little cold but no snow.

Today I want use PP Wing 3 stamp and I think 4 x 4 canvas is best.

First time I used the canvas. I have keeping the canvas little bit ago but never tach it. 

First I painted background by Fresco Finish South Pacific, Inky Pool.

Next I painted FF Guacamole onto background and made crack.

I stamped wild flower with Utee, also I stamped fairy queen and owl by treasing paper and painted. I glued it by FF Stain Glaze onto background and both side. 

Finally I put TH embellishment and stand.

Practice 001 002

I haven't challenge this week why I haven't any PA christmas stamps.

I gave priority to FF and another goods than Christmas stamps this time order. 

If it make it in time I want order it.

So I made something christmas panel.

I inspired Jo_Myhill very much then I have practiced shabby style.
Yesterday arrived the mini 69 stamp, I mede this quickly.
But It was too simple, it need more texture and technic. It's my next theme!!

PaperArsty Alison Bomber Project Challenge No2

Hello crafter and welcome.
I really want to try one more time Alison's project and inspired her arch and pearl.
I made the tag simply.

Background I almost same by Alison, I used stencil instead of Lin Brown stamps.
Used fresco Finish and DI.

I put the bells embellishment at the bottom.  I did not have the rusting powder,but I want rusting image. Then I painted by FF :-)

 I put 5 pearls backside arch.

This is final, I need some sentiment but I couldn't  find.
I'd give it ago!

PaperArtsy Alison Bomber project challenge

Hello crafters and welcome!
Now fall is my favorite season, temperature is between 10(c)-20 degrees in my erea.(Saga prefecture)
Yesterday, No1 cold wintry wind blow in the western erea, winter has come to the next door.
This week is inspired by project #1 from Allson Bomber at PaperArtsy see here.
Also I did that she have used tag inside layer before.
Background I used stencil with Fresco Finish, Archival ink and distress inks.
Layer I used FF and Crackle Glaze, Crack has nice done this time!
Stamps(Mini 61, Ink the Dog Frames 4, Eclectica Lin Brown 02, Ink the Dog Winter wonderland 5  )
And I used finish by only I have Treasure Gold classic.
The second picture is what I used. Julie Ann did of her blog, I think good idea! and I have tried. sorry and thank you Julie Ann.

PaperArtsy Jo Myhill project # 2 2nd. challenge

Hello Crfters and welcome my place.
Today is rain from morning, that's good for me you know.
I inspired Jo Myhill project #2 master board and mixed others by PaperArtsy blog. I love her style.
I want use the flower to main, the Gerbera is blooming our garden.
 I used 9 x 9 main and 6 x 6 chipboard to center layer. I haven't transparent FF gradation not many. Then I have used limited.
Mainly I painted Pea Coat, Eggplant, Claret.
Before I used transparent colors and too much light gray colors, it made muddy color. Not mixed with paints, I have layered each other this time.
Little good but vivid. That is next my subject.
Also I used Shrink Plastic, Embossing Powder(Jofy's sentiment, corner), Hot Picks, Ink & The Dogs, Ink & The Dogs mini stamps, Treasure Gold.Please leave me some advice and comment. Thank you for stopping by...

6 x 6 box Flower garden

Hollow crafters and welcome.
Soon November! It is very quickly past one year ><; Today I want to make pretty one.
Jofy's stamp make it enable.
I made box by 6x6 chipboard, I took around edge in TH died paper.
Painted flowers, box and edges by Fresco Finish.
To become one year on this month since I started Craft.
I also want to join the some like class, unfortunately there is no school or
class even shop in my little the country.
My class and shop is only internet,
I want know basis, technique, how to, etc from class.
Sometimes I think such a thing. lol

PaperArtsy Liz Borer Project #1 Challenge

I had really want to try  Lis's 1st project GP lettering.

I have cut in half the 8x8 chipboard. Painted background by FF.

Then  I wrote to hold my breath with concentrated  lol. I tried several times on

a other paper before I did.  I'd give it a go! (I recently learned this word.)

This is the finish. Time is almost dead line!!

PaperArtsy Liz Borer Project #3 Challenge

Hello, Crafters
It's rain out side why Typhoon is runing close our country.
The beginning of October to August is typhoon season in Japan.
Rain is good for crafting!
PaperArtsy Liz Borer Project is amazing, three projects are tour de force.(I don't
 know what I say exactly in english. Just I say wonderful!!) 
Then I only follow her colors, but her colors is so beatiful. I can't do that, just I have tried. 
Even I do not have any Halloween stamps then I did only mood. (I have to get some halloween stamps for next year.)
I painted all stamps with Fresco Finish and I used
Tim Holtz Accordion Flip 3-d die. I used this die first time then it is not going well.
I'll try to make more agen.

Stopper Belt I used TH edge die and magnet inside.
I like to make mini album, but didn't make recently.

PaperArtsy Jo Myhill challenge

I inspired by Jo Myhill, she is artist and she has many talent. Wonderfull!!
The challenge is too difficult. I tried to make the background several times.
I couldn't make shabby,I did grunge, and the background need more bigger.
Top of layer I used  very thin grunge paste onto the linen. I stamped Lynne Perrella girl onto tracing paper.　After grunge paste had dry I was stuck on tracing paper top of the cloth with satin glaze.
I added the embellishments the last.
I was not able to make that.(maybe funny english!)

I tried shrink plastic button again. I used PA die Grunge Flowers #2.
I used Talcum Powder onto SP and painted Fresco Finish with water.
Then I stamped Ink & The Dog Minis and Pierrot plate2.
That is good than before.
In the end I used UT onto the buttons.

PaperArsty challenge Liz Borer Project

I was inspired by Liz Borer PaperArtsy Project, and I will challenge.
I will plane to make a doll and a button book.
First I had download doll's pattern .
And I made several different types of textile patterns.It was so difficult for me, almost I gave up!!
This is my dolls apron and hat pattern.

I never made doll,it was first experience with lot of fun.
But I had a hard time in the cotton stuffing.
It was bumpy look!!
Hair tutorial was so helpful when I had done.
After I noticed My doll need more hair when I made the hat.

Project was done.
I respect  Liz again. Her project is rich in ideas,and carefully in every detail,
beautiful feminine color and design, what I say...I love her projects Wonderful!!! 

Poly Shrink Translucent
Archival Ink pads,  Fresco Finish 

I made button book, but It was not clear stamped onto shrink plastic.
It was bit blurry and I was not able to paint the color from behind. My SP is almost white.
Liz had done very clear and beautiful. 
I need more technique!!
So I am wondering how should I challenge this button book project.
