PaperArtsy Topic #5 'Art Doll' my entry.

Hello friends and welcome here.
Over on the PaperArtsy challenge blog the Topic#5 'Art Doll' which you can see with wonderful samples here. I was very inspired by Julie Ann Lee (magpieheaven )art doll also Mary Jane Chadbourne online class,
I really want to use Hot Picks The Quirky Girl--Linda Brown said--and the phrase
’Of course I talk to myself'.

step one: I cut the board and used some paper sander and gessoed.

step two : I also painted some pieces of Smoothy White Card with cut n dry foam (it was Leandra's tutorial ), and I used Fresco Sour Grapes, Mermaid, Guacamole and Snow flak. Also I stamped Darcy EDY18 by Cornflower Blue Archival then I cut the petals, these are for the dolls dress.
Also I made her cap and collar In the same way.

step three : I stamped HP1604  the quirky girl, painted then It was scanned and printed by printer. At that time It was expanded to fit the image on the face board. Then I was transferred the quirky girl face by Clear Tar Gel, and I stuck it on the face board by Glossy Accents.

step four : I made her body, hands, legs, neck, hat and the shrink plastic
earrings then put on together.
So sorry, the process photos was missing because I was keen on the making.
Finally I stamped ’Of course I talk to myself' by Fresco Snow Flake to the
pedestal.

These are her face and back style.

Thank you for stopping by
Have a nice days all!!

  7. Sorry I haven't dropped by earlier on this post Etsuko but I'm just now catching up after having been without internet for several days!

I couldn't miss the opportunity of saying how much I adore your art doll! She is just beautiful and so cleverly constructed. I am in awe of your skill and imagination! The mix of stamps you used to create her is wonderful!
