2016 PaperArtsy blog post 'Fairy House'

Hi everyone!! Etsuko Noguchi here.
I'm thrilled to be back on the PaperArtsy blog and tonight I'd like to share with you a post for the  ‘HOUSE’ theme.
I made the Fairy House to used my favorite Sara Nauman’s new stamp set.

I started to made the houses used heavy weight Kent paper.

I then stamped Sara's ESN20 leaves by Fresco Guacamole, Hey Pesto, Hide Park and Haystack onto the smoothy white stamping card and Also stamped ESN20ESN15 sentiments, wild flower and circle on the waxed tissue white by the Archival stamps.
I teared the tissue paper and stuck by gel medium to the roofs.

I was very inspired by 'Wanderlust' e-class Andy Skinner's fabulous technique.
It was a complicated process but I was taken up to the embossing this time.
I used Prima Modeling Paste onto the each outer walls then I used heat tool until the paste a little dry (once not creamy). I stamped ESN20, ESN15 onto the outer walls with a little water. I made to shape the house outer walls when the paste completely dried. Also I made fence and steps by chip board, I then used Golden White Gesso to the houses.

I cut the leaves to make the roof tiles and attached each roofs. And I added mosses. The tree was made with the same way as the roof.

I painted Fresco Mermaid on the cube house and I had add dry brush by Guacamole. I then painted Fresco Haystack on the cylindrical house and I had add dry brush by Blue Oyster.
I used fab Hot Picks HP1605 to made the doors and the windows.
Finally I made the mushrooms and the fairy by paper clay then I had paint by Frescos.  I used ESN20 to made the fairy dress by Fresco Blue Oyster and China.

I really had enjoy to making the fairy house and love to playing with wonderful stamps and Fresco paint.  Hope you like this and would you like to make your own fairy house beside the window.
Thanks so much for joining me tonight!
Hugs

  4. This is truly delightful! The oh so strange thing is that I woke up a couple of weeks ago dreaming about leaf shaped shingles on a project. Just a glimpse, but doodled out an idea from there - which of course I haven't gotten around to! Unreal! Anyway, your stamped leaves really inspire me! What a clever use of your stamps and the colors are on point! Love this!
