PaperArtsy blog Topic#6 resin---Timeworn Necklace

Hello everyone and welcome here.

It's wonderful to be back here on the PA blog tonight. I've chosen to share with you a Timeworn Necklace project.
I wanted to make an accessories using Seth's new stamps and wood chips with resin.
Seth is showing off his wonderful ideas and techniques around the world at his workshops, of which twice was a workshop organized by PA. His blog -the altered page- contains an introduction of his fabulous works and artists active in the world. I am always inspired by his creations.

I thought about how to configure them for the necklace top before I tried to use the Seth's wood-chips and the Relics & Artifacts Tribe.

After that I used Seth's technique to paint by Seth set-2 and Blood Orange, Caribbean Sea and Pumpkin Soup Fresco paints. Once them dried I did embossing ivory and copper enamels on each wood-chips with Seth ESA03 stamps.

Add the same amount of AB resin solution to be used to the cup, add 2 drops of the tint color and gently mix it. Leave it for about 5 minutes until the bubbles disappear.

A brush with the resin solution on the Relics & Artifacts Tribe and leave it for about a whole day and night until it is completely dry.

Embossing the Relics & Artifacts Tribe cameo for the focal point by Ice Resin enamels ivory. I planed to make it the same color as the previous two R & A T, but as the whole got little dark then I decided to use on the ivory embossing powder that was not pure white.

I layered the lace colored with Infusion Terracotta and Magenta on the tag and joined all the other items.

Next step is the chain making, I was planning the necklace string which a silk fabric dyed with Infusions, and I wanted to make it as natural as possible to entwine the chain. However there was no hand-held chains to fit with fabric, so I changed my mind and I made it to the handmade chain only.

This time I applied infrared rays using UV resin, the time to dry only 5 minutes. The finish looks like a rusty charm.

 This is the finish of the chain by connecting beads and charms.

And here it is all put together.

I tried making the bracelet with a dyed silk fabric when I could not make. 

The project to play with Seth's items was a great fun, I was absorbed in making and almost forget to take photos. I'm not fully give up to make the fabric accessories and I'll try again.

Soldering Part 2

Hello friends and welcome here. Soon everybody will have Easter, In our country the Easter is not familiar like Christmas or Halloween. Of course, we knows that the Easter s the most important day in Christianity. Have a happy Easter everyone!!
I still continue soldering craft, this is a wall hanger I have made from yesterday.
I used Ice Resin for the center circle, I poured the resin about one-third into the circle once solidified the resin, I put the face paper and pour the resin again from above. I was using a heat tool for the embossing of the around the circle when the resin was not completely solidified. Then bubbles were formed in the resin as the result. I gradually get clever based on this experience lol.

Soldering

Hello frieands and welcome here.
There was a solder lesson on the Wanderlust 2017 online course. The solder is my first experience that although it was not so much interested at the beginning. However, looking at Guriana 's video, her project was very attractive and I wanted to try myself as well. And I bought a basic tool.

This is the first piece made with solder for electric repair.

It is a work that made solder for craft arrived. and  I followed Guriana's on line class project.

This is third piece and I made these embellishments which I haven't any vintage them. Really I want to go to flea market and get various old little things, Unfortunately like that market can not be opened around our area.

This is a piece what I made today. The handmade square frame with distorted shape. I used a UV resin for the girl in the center, I used a paper sealer beforehand and examined it well before using infrared but big air bubbles were created in the lower left. Although it is not a happy result yet...It's great fun, I'll keep going!!!!

PaperArtsy blog challenge Topic #5 'Blue and Ochre'

Hello everyone and welcome here.
Tonight over on the PA blog challenge Topic#5 'Blue and Ochre' which you can see fabulous samples and GD projects here.
Also I was very inspired by them works Lesley --Crafty Love N Hugs--and Hazel--Mellifluous Meanderings.

I used TH's Distress Oxide pads and Darcy's stamps for the challenge.

I chosen Broken China, Faded Jeans, Fossilized Amber and Wilted Violet Distress Oxide for the background. I stamped some script by Potting Soil Archival on the another watercolor paper. Then I used Darcy's flower stamps by same Potting Soil Archival on the paper. I fussy cut, placed and stuck them by 3D foam on the background. I made the laces and wire embellishment , finished with the letters of Dream.
